Hope you are all well and enjoying the spring sunshine!
I write with less fun news, however for good reason that I trust you will understand and be able to support.
Due to the upcoming government changes to National Minimum Wages and age groups for Living wages, we need to make an adjustment to our class membership fees.
We’ll be increasing fees by approximately 5%, from your next payment which is for the month of May, taken slightly in advance from the 18th April. This equates to a small increase monthly of £1.50-£3.00 depending on the class you attend.
It’s not a decision that has been taken lightly, as I’m sure you will expect from us to always make considered decisions, especially in the current climate.
However, it is one that’s extra important where it impacts our people – the people you know and love, who look after your children in their classes and activities. We’re proud to support our team and pay them decent wages for the great and passionate work they do.
As ever, we’ll always continue improving and growing and providing our very best for you.

New monthly membership rates from 1st May 2024 (paid in advance from 18th April).
Gymnastics, Parkour, Gym-Tumble classes:
30 min class – £33.50
45 min class – £42
55 min class – £47.50
1 hr 20 min class – £59.50
Diamonds Squad – £66
Diamonds and Emeralds additional Wednesday squad class – £28
Cheer Teams
45 min – £42
Elite tumble/Stretch and Flex – £42 full rate, £29.40 discounted rate.
1 hour – 47.50
1.5 hour – £51, crossovers £35.70
2 hour – £54, crossovers £37.80
2.5 hour – £58.50, crossovers £40.95
Golden Girls 6 hours monthly – £46.50
Holiday Camps – £40 full day, £20 half day.
We did, however it had been delayed from the summer term. Our t’s and c’s state we increase fees for the summer term annually – we’re now hopefully returning to this pattern. This substantial change in NMW rates was an unexpected curve ball delivered by the government after our last fee increase, which is forcing this mid-year change now.
The intention is no, not to increase again. However unfortunately this cannot be promised in the current financial climate and with a potential change of government who may make other changes. Fingers crossed for things settling out.
We’ve looked at this and essentially, no we can not cover it fully and still run the high quality organisation you expect. The fee increase will bring in roughly half of the increase to our payroll. We’re covering the rest by some cuts to expenses and with growth as we do have class places available – so if you know anyone who wants to join us, please do send them our way.
Offering gymnastics, cheer and parkour classes where people of all ages and abilities can feel good about themselves, and achieve success in an atmosphere designed for movement, health and fun. We run classes at our own sites in Hoddesdon and Cheshunt, Hertfordshire, UK.
