Ask about the camp’s approach to helping children who might feel anxious or homesick. How high up the priority list is making everyone feel comfortable and included.
A low staff-to-child ratio means more personalised attention for your child. Inquire about the ratio to ensure your child will receive adequate supervision and support.
Camps should cater to various age groups with appropriate activities. One-size fits no-one. Look for differentiation in activity – either with different types of camps or with how activities are organised within it.
